Eu sou Português e tenho o Simon VIS. Quando instalaram o Simon não deixaram o sw de configuração. Podem arranjar-me o Termvis?

I'm Portuguese and I have Simon VIS in my house. However I don't have any sw to configure the system and we dont have Simons support around here. Can anyone please provide me with Termvis (DOS version)? I've been reading this forum and I know that there are better ways to comunicate with the control module. However for now I just want to check waht is the configuration that the builder of the house put on Simon VIS. Afterwards I will start exploring.

You can also access directly to embebedd system program into our systema y we made next steps:

1) Create a new Hiperterminal conexion with these parameters:

COM1:

- Bits por segundo: 9.600 baudios
- Bits de datos: 8
- Paridad: ninguna
- Bits de parada: 1
- Control de flujo: Hardware

If is correct you see in your PC: TermVIS 5.0E

..., and you can made changes in your configuration,...

How you have SIMONVIS, we think tath is only IHC for Spain? How you get it?

You know due to the Portuguese market dimension, some companies tend to view Portugal and Spain as just one market. Around here its usual to see Simon switches in stores, so it's not that unusual to see Simon VIS in the Portuguese market. I bought an apartment with Simon VIS. the configuration was already done by the builder of the building. Now I want to check what was the configuration that he did because I dont have any manual or paper with the configuration. After that I want to start learning howthe system works in order to do more configurations. Can you or the other users of the forum post some confgurations to view how it all works?

Yesterday I sucessfully instaled termvis 2.1. However I can't connect with the control module. I receive the following error message: no connection with simonvis. What are the steps to connect to the control module? Do I have to connect the cable before I start the PC? I read in teh forum that sometimes the control module gets blocked. How can I detect that?

The Led of my control module _b_link__s every second. Is that normal? Also in the control module I have a switch with icons. One for summer, the other for winter. wjat is that? Wjats the purpose?

No problem you can made us as inquies as you want,...

You need follow these steps:

1) First put wire RS232 between your SIMONVIS Control Modul and your PC (COM1)
2) Turn on the PC
3) Execute termvis.exe of TermVIS 1.2c file under MS-DOS window. (select port: COM1)

If you have connection (modul of control _b_link__s 5 time by second), then you can see a menu of options and you can check (Menu de control --> Visualizar Entradas y salidas)

If it's OK you can see Inputs (entradas) and outputs (salidas) of your installation.
You can check switch off /on for identified the layout of your House (ex: output nº: 32 = ligths living room).

4) You can start program under WINDOWS: TERMVIS 2.1 and work with instructions writed in the

PS: TermVIS 1.2c under MS-DOS is necessary to unlocked system (erased all programation) because version of Windows it can't unlocked system.
PS2: If your system is locked you can see that every (ligts, switchs,...) are fell down.
To be more information about your IHC version , please send us the bar code number put in the Modul Control, and we tell you if is it the same version thar ours.

Maji se te ha olvidado comentarle que el interruptor frontal sirve para cambiar la hora (delantarla o retrasarla) sin necesidad de cambiarlo por programación.

¿Hay alguna forma de que nos enteremos de lo que comentaís?. Mi inglés está un poco oxidado.
